Hamilton’s call last night on Travis Hafner’s game-winning two-run homerun was no different. While it wasn’t a no-doubt homerun, Hamilton’s “IT IS GONE” gives me goosebumps as the crowd takes over and erupts in the field mic. Hamilton lets Hafner run the bases before talking again, letting anybody who is listening from a car in Canfield to a front porch in Lorain soak in the atmosphere from the ballpark just like they were sitting there live at Progressive Field.
