When wide receiver Terrell Owens signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in July, the first thing that comes to most football fans minds are how good will the duo of Owens and Chad Ochocinco be? Can they keep their egos in check? Can Carson Palmer spread the ball around to keep both happy?
Cleveland Browns cornerback Brandon McDonald had another opinion on T.O. signing with the Bengals, which you can read below:
Tell us how you really feel Brandon.
Well, I had the chance Sunday morning to ask Owens about the McDonald comment and just overall players running their mouths on Twitter. This is what he had to say:
We all know that Owens knows who McDonald is. And you can say Owens it taking the high road in this one, but not without at least throwing one little jab at McDonald.
The Browns play the Bengals twice (October 3 and December 19). I’m sure there will be some trash-talking leading up to the game, but in all honestly, who wants to be compared to Ronald McDonald?

Cleveland Browns KR/PR/WR spoke to the media during halftime of the Cleveland Gladiators arena football game at Quicken Loans Arena. He has been proclaimed the “new” King of Cleveland since LeBron James bolted to Miami. Funny thing is, this interview took place right outside of the Cavaliers locker room, where the “old” King used to get dressed for games.

“The Dugout Sports Show” was live from Ganley Volkswagen/Subaru in Bedford, Ohio on July 17th. I was joined by Tony Mazur from theCleveland Sports Report.
We were also joined by AM 850 WKNR sports talk show host Sabrina Parr. She joined our show right after purchasing one of the many great vichles at Ganley Volkswagen/Subaru in Bedford. She came on and talked about LeBron leaving Cleveland, the impact on the city, and also a little Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football.
We hit on the wackiest MLB disabled list stories that hit the news recently as well as the great ones from years past. The passing of George Steinbrenner was discussed including the million dollar question…what if “The Boss” took over the Cleveland Indians back in the 70s?
PROGRAMMING NOTE: On July 31st, we will have our “DSS Listener Appreciation Day” at Ganley Volkswagen/Subaru from 10am-2pm ET. We will be broadcasting outside, Wii HR Derby will be out, and prizes to go around. So make sure to come on out! Great times, great food, and prizes! The NBA has gone soft. Antawn Jamison just proved that point saying he "hopes LeBron gets a championship" down in Miami.
Since LeBron James has announced he was signing with the Miami Heat, a lot of people not only in Cleveland but around the country have expressed their anger and hate towards the “King”. But one of his former teammates is happy for LeBron.
Current Cleveland Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison recently told a TMZ photographer “I’m happy for him. I hope he gets a championship.”
What?!? Hopes he gets a championship? Are we not in the same league? Are you not competing for the same goal and prize? But yet you are wishing another player on another team you hope he gets a championship.
Granted, Jamison is stuck with the Cavaliers after being basically a rental player to win a title last year, but this is not the mentality I want on the Cavaliers.
You think Michael Jordan or Larry Bird hoped Magic Johnson gets a championship? Hell no. I miss the old days where players hated each other.

We know at least one Cavalier who will be giving it his all next season. (The guy on the right)
“Boobie” Gibson wrote a letter to Cleveland Cavalier fans today on his website. Gibson is the second Cavalier to express themselves after LeBron James deserted the team Thursday by signing with the Miami Heat. Cavaliers guard Mo Williams talked about his feelings on his Twitter account after the announcement Thursday night.
What Up World,
This Message is Directly for the fans of Cleveland from your adopted son, The one and only Boobie G. As you know i was born and raised in Houston, TX. Never once stayed outside the state for more than two weeks and the time I did, that was for basketball. But after two years of college at the University of Texas I decided to make the jump. You can just imagine how fast my mind was racing going to a city so many miles out of my comfort zone not knowing one single person. But I thank God it was Cleveland! Because From day one the city embraced me and made me feel like I was home. My Second HOME. And as time went on I began to see why we connected. Cleveland is a never die city, city of loyalty, hard-workers, passion, desire, and toughness. A lot of the same characteristics I have in me and that inspired me. So I made a promise to myself that every day I stepped foot on that basketball court I would show the world what Cleveland was all about. Leaving everything i had on the court. So no matter what obstacle was placed in front of me, I would bust right through it. No matter how high, I would get over it. Or how wide I would get around it. N I hope I did that and will continue to do that. I said that to say, I know right now emotions are high, and people are confused about the way things went down. But I’m here to say DO NOT FORGET THAT WE STILL HERE. and WE GONE GRIND!!!! The Cavaliers haven’t went anywhere, just lost a piece. Everything in life happens for a reason, Some which we dont understand and never will. Somethings we cant control, But the thing we can control is our passion and our love for city of Cleveland and state of OHIO. And that every single night we take that we floor We Will represent. Blood SweAT and Tears. We will go hard. Just like you. From the bottom to the top, this organization is committed to winning and we wont stop now….. Cant stop now. I LOVE you. We Love YOU. And together We gone make it HAppen. O H I O. Hang in there.
As for me on another note, I’m in LA working on my game so that i may be a key part of this movement next season. The family is doing great. MY wife to be is in the studio every day and night trying to create the best album of her career. Cutting no corners putting her heart in it like never before. With so much new emotion to show the world. My son Daniel Jr. is 4 months now. Everyday he gets bigger. We took him to the doctor yesterday to get two shots. And lil man did not shed a tear. even laughed a little bit. Tough lil dude, something like his daddy LOL. The rest of the fam is back home in Houston working with the DGib Hoops Foundation-Shooting for Success. Helping mainly inner city youth to meet new friends, become more discipline, athletically and academically so that one day they may qualify for scholarships and go on to college and be whatever they want to be. Following a living example. ME… Well thats enough for today, yall stay tuned for my next post and remember if you believe, you can achieve. ANYTHING
Cleveland Stand up
1LUV,
BooBie

Could LeBron James be headed to the Knicks?
The era of LeBron James officially a free agent started with a bang, as the New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets both came to Cleveland today to meet the the two-time MVP. LeBron James arrvied at the IMG building in downtown Cleveland a little before 11am, with the New Jersey Nets arriving shortly after.
Nets head coach Avery Johnson, rapper Jay-Z, and billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov led the Nets group in their meeting with James, which lasted about a hour and 45 minutes.
As the Nets were leaving, the Knicks group pulled in. They needed a cargo van to haul in their presentation. President of Basketball Operations Donnie Walsh led the group and was also joined by Assistant to the President Allan Houston, Knicks head coach Mike D’Antoni, and the Dolan group. Their meeting with LeBron lasted a little longer, going about two hours.
The Knicks then left the building and LeBron departed at around 3:30pm. LeBron will meet with the Miami Heat and L.A. Clippers on Friday.
Below are some pictures from the frenzy that was day one of LeBron James being a free agent.

Tom Izzo will remain Michigan State’s basketball coach, rejecting the head coaching position with NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, WDIV Channel 4 in Detroit reported Tuesday night. An announcement is said to be made at 7pm ET, which was also reported by WDIV.
Izzo, 55, has coached the Spartans for 15 seasons with a record of 64-146, and a National Championship in 2000.
There has been a week of speculation on whether Izzo would take the Cavaliers job. Bryon Scott has also been contacted by the Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers fired Mike Brown at the end of their 2010 playoff run, in which they were knocked out by the Boston Celtics.
