About DSS
“The Dugout Sports Show” started in December of 2008 simply as a weekly online sports show and has since evolved into an interactive and content driven website for Cleveland sports fans.
Since its inception, DSS has embarked on a variety of partnerships that have included the MorningShowCentral radio network, SportsTalkCLEVELAND, and Digital Sports Network in partnership with Cleveland.com, which has enabled the site to grow and expand its audience.
After quickly establishing itself as a legitimate local online media entity, DSS has been credentialed by the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers organizations for coverage of the teams since 2009. DSS also covers Cleveland State mens basketball and Ohio State football.
In the summer of 2011, DSS underwent a makeover and re-branding which featured a redesigned website, logos, re-launch of its social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter as well as a new state of the art broadcast studio for its live weekly video webcast.
Aside from a weekly show hosted by Glenn Moore and Daryl Ruiter, DSS also features blogs written by Moore, Ruiter, Jody Bell, Christopher Williams and Kate Arhar as well as regular podcast interviews with local athletes including Indians all-star closer Chris Perez, Cavaliers guard Daniel “Boobie” Gibson and WWE Superstar Jerry “The King” Lawler.
