When wide receiver Terrell Owens signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in July, the first thing that comes to most football fans minds are how good will the duo of Owens and Chad Ochocinco be? Can they keep their egos in check? Can Carson Palmer spread the ball around to keep both happy?
Cleveland Browns cornerback Brandon McDonald had another opinion on T.O. signing with the Bengals, which you can read below:
Tell us how you really feel Brandon.
Well, I had the chance Sunday morning to ask Owens about the McDonald comment and just overall players running their mouths on Twitter. This is what he had to say:
We all know that Owens knows who McDonald is. And you can say Owens it taking the high road in this one, but not without at least throwing one little jab at McDonald.
The Browns play the Bengals twice (October 3 and December 19). I’m sure there will be some trash-talking leading up to the game, but in all honestly, who wants to be compared to Ronald McDonald?
Tony, Brendan, and I hit on Cavs/Celtics, the Indians, the Browns draft and other miscellanous sports stories, that included a baseball player passing a kidney stone during a game. Ouch. Hopefully listening to this show can’t compare to that. Enjoy!

The Cleveland Browns selected Florida corner JOE HADEN with their 7th pick in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Below is a video from Cleveland Browns Stadium showing fans (insert sarcastic tone) exploding with joy with the pick. I think I counted four people clapping. Let’s hope Haden proves his worth.

Brady Quinn is on the way to Denver.
Jay Glazer of Fox Sports is reporting that Quinn was just traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Denver Broncos in exchange for Peyton Hillis and two conditional draft picks.
We’ve known since the Browns acquired quarterbacks Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme that Quinn was on the way out, and now we know that he’s gone.
The question now is whether he’ll be the starter in Denver.

IAN EAGLE can do it all. He calls NFL games on CBS. He announces New Jersey Nets games for the YES Network. He even has his own Sports Broadcasting School. He never met a game he couldn’t announce.
I spoke with him on a lot of topics. The Cleveland Cavaliers, the state of the NBA Slam Dunk contest, LeBron James, the New Jersey Nets, the Cleveland Browns, Mike Holmgren, and some of his favorite moments while announcing.
Some highlights from the interview: “Do Cleveland Browns fans blame me for their dismal seasons?” “The NBA will seriously consider getting rid of the Slam Dunk contest.”

I recently interviewed LINDSAY McCORMICK who is a writer for ESPN’s The Magazine Page 2. We talked about everything sports, including college football, the NFL, Tim Tebow, her favorite interview, and getting the chance to do what she loves, which is cover sports.

Oh boy. If NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell thought Chad Ochocinco’s name changing days were over, he has another thing coming.
Ochocinco announced on his live USTREAM broadcast Sunday morning that he will be legally changing his last name to “Hachi Go” next season.
“Hachi Go” is Japanese for 8 - 5.
While cooking breakfast, only six hours before his Cincinnati Bengals took on the Detroit Lions, he held up a custom made Cincinnati Bengals jersey with “Hachi Go” on the back.
“I’m not sure how Mr. Goodell is going to take it,” Ochocinco said as he held up the jersey.
But why “Hachi Go”?
A Japanese film crew was in town a couple weeks ago to do a piece on the Bengals for a NFL show over there. They said all NFL fans in Japan know who Chad Ochocinco is and they seriously made a proposal to Chad to change his last name to “Hachi Go”.
“Some fans of mine that are Japanese said I should change my last name to ‘Hachi Go’.”
He legally changed his name to Chad Javon Ochocinco on August 29, 2008. The Cincinnati Bengals decided to allow him to have it on the back of his jersey, though Ochocinco continued to wear his old “C. Johnson” jersey during the 2008 football season, due to contractual obligations with Reebok. He has played with “Ochocinco” on the back of his jersey since the 2009 preseason. He wanted it to read “Ocho Cinco” but the NFL will only allow his legal name as spelled on his name change paperwork.
I, Glenn took over the hosting duties and did the show solo as Brock as MIA. He will be back next week as I will be covering the Ohio State/Toledo game. Speaking of OSU, I previewed the OSU/USC game as well as some other big college football games. The Cleveland Browns/Minnesota Vikings game was also previewed, and I gave his NFL Week 1 picks. Let’s see how I do!
While ranting about the Cleveland Indians, former Atlanta Falcons running back, JAMAL ANDERSON called in the show! Twitter is an amazing thing! Jamal and I talked about the OSU/USC game, why there should be a playoff system in college football, and also hit on new social media hitting the sports world.

On our first show of September, Glenn was MIA as he was covering the Pittsburgh/Youngstown State college football game at Heinz Field. So Brock took over host duties for the show as Mickey was his guest host. Glenn called in live from the game and they also had Matt Loede, from NFL Gridiron Gab on the show to talk some NFL football.
Glenn will be back in studio this coming Saturday and we will preview the OSU/USC game!
